JEE Advanced 2018 Results

JEE Advanced 2018 Results will be declared at 10 pm on 11th June 2018 by IIT Madras. JEE Advanced candidates can check JEE Advanced 2018 Results by logging into the Result portal using their application number and date of birth. This Result includes category-wise All India Rank (AIR) of the candidates. This year, Sarvesh Mehtani from Chandigarh secured AIR 1 while Pune’s Akshat Chugh ranked AIR 2. IIT JEE Main & Advanced Test Series

This year, 97 institutes (including 23 IITs) will take part in JoSAA2018 and the students will have more than 600 programs to choose from. It is a national level examination through which admissions to B.Tech, Integrated M.Tech or B.Tech-M.Tech Dual Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science & Pharmacy is provided in IITs, ISM, IIPE, RGPIT, IISc, IISER, and IIST. This examination was open for Indian national as well as for foreign national candidates. JEE Advanced is the second stage of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). JEE Advanced 2018 Results- How to Check them?

The JEE Advanced examination was held on  21st May 2018 while, as mentioned earlier, JEE Advanced Results will be declared on 11th June 2018. JEE Advanced 2018 Results can be checked on JEE Advanced Results page.

  1. Candidates must access the official JEE Advanced website
  2. Click on the JEE Advanced Results 2018
  3. Candidates will be directed to another form where they must provide their roll no., date of birth & hit the submit buttonJEE Advanced results
  4. Candidate’s rank will be made available along with their score in JEE Advanced
  5. Candidates must download & take a printout of their JEE Advanced Results

Important Note: It was announced by the IITs that as a Result of 3 ambiguous problems present in the JEE Advanced question paper, 11 marks will be rewarded as a bonus to all the students. Two of these will be in the Mathematics section & one in Physics section of the paper.

JEE Advanced 2018 Answer Key

The official JEE Advanced answer key was released on the JEE Advanced official website on the 4th June 2018. Candidates can download them here:

The last date to submit feedbacks or raise comments on the official answer key was 6th June 2018. Later than that, no requests shall be entertained.

JEE Advanced 2018 Counseling:

Seat allotment in counseling will be based on JEE Advanced ranks. Candidates have also been notified of the declaration of JEE Advanced Results 2018 on their registered mobile numbers. But individual rank cards will not be sent to the candidate. In order to access individual rank cards, the candidate will have to log-in to their individual accounts.

For counseling, remember that qualifying in JEE Advanced 2018, filling up choices and participating in the seat allocation process doesn’t guarantee admission to an IIT. Allotment of seats will depend on factors like availability of seats during the counseling round. Also, only those candidates who qualify in JEE Advanced 2018 are eligible to participate in JoSAA counseling. The seat allotment process of the selected candidates will be done through JoSAA counseling. Around 10,572 undergraduate engineering seats will be open for admission through JEE Advanced. Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) post-JEE Advanced 2018 Results

Candidates wanting to join the B. Arch. (Architecture) programs will have to pass the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). Only those candidates who have qualified in JEE Advanced 2018 are eligible to appear in AAT 2018. B.Arch is offered at IIT Kharagpur & IIT Roorkee only. Candidates willing to appear for AAT must register themselves on JEE Advanced online portal. Follow the table below for important dates pertaining to AAT. The AAT will consist of one question paper to be answered in 3 hours. Candidates have to bring their own drawing aids.

JEE Advanced 2018 Results Analysis

Sarvesh Mehtani from Chandigarh secured AIR 1 while Pune’s Akshat Chugh ranked AIR 2. Sarvesh who wrote the exam from IIT Roorkee zone scored 339 marks out of 366. he got 120 marks in Maths, 104 in Physics and 115 marks in Chemistry. He was ranked 55th in JEE Main.Akshat Chugh of Pune, who ranked second in JEE Advanced was ranked 7th in JEE Main 2018.

JEE Main 2018 was topped by Kalpit Veerwal who scored 100 % in the JEE Main i.e. 360/360. This year Vrunda Nandkumar Rathi, the topper amongst girls, secured AIR 71 in JEE Main. N. Ramya topped the exam amongst the girls with an AIR 38. The following table shows the overall numbers of JEE Advanced 2018.

To be included in the rank list of JEE Advanced, candidates must score minimum marks which are decided based on the table given below. The table lists down the minimum % mark required to be included in respective rank lists.
